comfortable and supportive
This belt was purchased for my third pregnancy.My midwife suggested a maternity belt because my abdominal muscles are not as strong as they used to be.She believed using one would help to avoid allowing the baby to malpresent.Since I was thinking of buying one anyway (I had a lot of back discomfort with my second child's final trimester) her urging was all I needed.
I am so very glad I got this belt.It is quite comfortable, and has really helped relieve my backache.The first two days made my back hurt more, as my muscles adjusted to having the support they needed.The difference in comfort level between this pregnancy and my previous two is remarkable.Also, since this baby was a partial transverse (laying sideways) AND a frank breech (legs folded up in front of it so the butt is presenting) before wearing the belt, I am convinced it did play a role in having the baby move into its present vertex (head down) presentation.
The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because I have to remove it every time I use the "facilities".But that is a minor annoyance well made-up for by its benefits.

This is an awesome product.I'm carrying twins, so the load is unbelievable - my twins are at least 2 pounds each, not counting the placentas and amniotic fluid of each.I'm quite small (5' 2"), and it was such a relief to put this on.I felt like I was being gently hugged and my back no longer hurt.So why did I give it only 4 stars?Because the velcro near the front would rub against the sensitive skin of both my thighs, right at the crease.It hurt, but I just put a pair of my husband's socks to cushion it. It's heaven sent, so I don't really mind the socks.It adds to the cushioning in front, around the belly.I highly recommend this!Definitely worth it! ... Read more

Itchy!!!
I was hoping this bra would be comfortable but I find it to be incredibly itchy at the piping that wraps underneath my breast. I bought 2 and wish I hadn't wasted my money. I was unable to return the one I didn't wear (or remove the tags) because of Motherhoods very strict return policies.Trying it on in the store didn't help because you have to wear it longer to feel how itchy it is! I'm a bit bigger that a D cup right now so it may have to do with my breast size. Beware!

Wonderful, comfortable
I am a 38DD, so I need a lot of support in a bra.This bra is excellent for around the house and night wear.It is comfortable and easy to maneuver since there are no clips or hooks.It holds well in the wash too although handwashing is recommended.I wear it out when I have on t-shirts and am very casual, but I will say it's not the most attractive or supportive to wear in tighter fitting shirts or when super-support is necessary.I bought 2 initially and bought 2 more as I went down in size after losing some baby weight.My favorite nursing bra by far!

If you have a problem with sizes
Right now I'm a 34F and bras are rarely made in that size.I got mastitus in the first month after birth because I had 2 ill fitting bras.My motherinlaw took me out trying to get me the right size (I got measured 1st) - I tried on anything close to my size.Finally I found this bra and it was a lifesaver!They only had one at the Motherhood Maternity store - they said it's a newer product.It fits great!and has alot of room for daily changes in breast size.I got an XL - just for the breast size and it fits well all over.Very adjustable -- I want a few more.

It's not a hefty support, but some support is better than none.
It's soft - which is great when your breasts are sore.
Very adjustable to ribcage and shoulder length.
Easy for nursing - no snaps or buckles.
It's lowcut V-shape is great when you might want to show alittle cleavage - or just don't want to feed frumpy

Helpful but needs to be perfected
I needed a bra to sleep in, but this one is almost more trouble than it's worth.It fits perfectly but at night when I move around in bed it gets twisted up and turns until it's no longer comfortable.Could somehow be perfected...

I would encourage every mother to own this wrap bra especially if you are breast-feeding. It is extremely comfortable with its 90% cotton and 10% spadex configuration. I have tried a lot of expensive night bras, but this is the best. Please don't waste your money on 100% cotton wrap bras they expand. Try this one instead...I highly recommend this. ... Read more

My lifesaver for the first 6 weeks!
This is the best maternity bra! I don't usually write reviews (first one) but I had bought just one of these bras and after I had my son, I couldn't stand to put on the other nursing bras I had (or any other bras for that matter but couldn't go without either). This bra feels almost soothing to me when I put it on. Needless to say, I quickly bought a couple more and they were my constant friend night and day for a while. I still like them for at night even though I'm not as tender and can now use others too.
