Nice shirt but a dress shirt needs thicker fabric
My favorite shirt is a Van Heusen 'Editions' button down that needs no ironing but still always looks like it was freshly starched. I bought it a few years ago so the model is now defunct. I was trying to get a few more like it when I ordered the poplin dress shirt.

The poplin is nice, but the fabric is a little thinner than what I wanted. In white, t-shirt lines would probably show. I suppose I should have ordered the pinpoint model but the online description does not specify the cotton/poly ratio it only says 'cotton-rich' leading me to wonder if it will look as good without ironing.

My husband loves it!
This denim shirt is my husband's favorite. The cotton fabric is of high quality and very soft even when it is washed without softener. It doesn't shrink either. No ironing is needed if taken straight from the tumbler. The sewing shows solid workmanship, no loose threads anywhere, like with so many cheap brands, where the buttons tend to come off just by looking at them.
