Developed a hole faster than any jeans I've EVER owned
I don't wear jeans much anymore, but they are all I wore from about age 5 until my early to mid 20's. I've owned every brand imaginable, and most styles within the popular brand. I wore Wrangler, Lee, Levis, and several others when I was still in school. I abandoned all for Levi's in high school, and wore only that brand until a few years ago. Then I bought some Tommy Hillfiger jeans that were good jeans, but were short in the legs. Since most of the Polo clothes I've purchased have both worn well and looked good, I figured Polo Jeans would be a great pair of jeans. Boy was I wrong.

First, the length. I order JCrew Chinos so I can get them in 31 length, which is perfect for me. Old Navy pants run a little long, so 30s work fine in that. Like other off the shelf pants, I'm stuck with either 30 or 32, the former often too short, and the latter too long. In Levis, I go with 32, but the 32 is true and it isn't a big deal. The 30s in PJ were longer than the 32 Levis!! Since they were too long, I couldn't wear a couple of different pairs of shoes I wanted to wear as the bottoms would drag the floor, and I hate that.

Then, a few weeks ago, I discovered a hole in the seat. Not where the pocket edge is, but just in a general area. I've had these jeans for about a year and have worn them maybe 15-20 times. They've been washed maybe 15 times. The last pair of Levi 501s I had were 5 sizes too small when I finally threw them out. They were still in good condition, and I probably had had them 10 years, had worn them no less than 100 times in each of the first few years, and washed them no fewer than 40 times each year. All they did was fade a bit.

I can understand designer jeans being a little more delicate, but come on. 20 wearings (if that) and they wear out. I'd have to wear denim underwear so nobody could tell the difference. Otherwise, they go to Goodwill.

Incidentally, the jeans fit (other than the length) and look great. That's the reason for the 2 stars. ... Read more

Real comfortable
These pants are really comfortable, perfect for warm weather, or just lounging around the house. The fact that the pockets have zippers is a big plus for me, as I've lost items (such as keys!!) while wearing these kinds of pants before. The one thing that disappoints me is that there's a goofy-looking seam running down the front of each leg. Also, I clipped a loose strand at some point, and part of the seam disappeared, which makes it look more goofy.
