Great look for an even better price!!
I bought 3 of these shirts for my husband, and ordered 3 more after he could not stop raving about them. He plays golf almost every weekend, and will only wear these shirts when he plays due to the high comfort level and great fit. And the look is great, especially considering the bargain price!!! The best plain shirt I've ever worn!Funny, I know!
I have to laugh at myself, writing a review for a T-Shirt of all things, but I gotta tell you, this is no ordinary T-shirt!A year ago I bought one of these shirts in a local store and fell completely in love with it.It's now a year later, I love it just the same, and I can't find them anywhere, except Amazon (thank God!)The one I have just happens to have a silkscreen on it, and after a year of constant use (for work) the silkscreen still looks great.When you compare this shirt to a 100% cotton shirt, these wear MUCH lighter & cooler, even though it says "heavyweight."Don't let that scare you as it's not "heavy" at all.With constant washing over the last year, the Hanes shirt has kept its color, unlike my 100% cotton shirts of the same age which have faded much faster.Also, if you tend to perspire, these shirts will wick away the moisture more quickly and will not show it nearly as much as a 100% cotton shirt would.Also nice is that they don't shrink or wrinkle.I wish I had known about these shirts years ago...Don't kick yourself years down the road when you buy one of these shirts by accident and wonder where its been all your life (like I did), get it now and enjoy it.

Hanes 5170 is the best plain shirt ever!
I got sick of wearing 100% cotton white undershirts, because they would continue to shrink and deform indefinitely. So I tried these 50/50 shirts and they've done the trick.

Nice shirt
This is a great shirt. It has a unique color to it and doesn't wrinkle that easily. The shades displayed in the pictures are some-what misleading, probally because of the lighting conditions of the pics, they look a tad bit ligher than displayed in the pics. However, they look and fit well.

Great all around shirt
I've been wearing these shirts for about 3-4 years now. They never fade, barely wrinkle, wash nicely, always available in nice colors, and the quality and sizing is always consistent.They last forever, and the construction is very solid. I've had a deep blue shirt for almost 3 years now and it still looks the same as the day I took it out of the package. Highly recommended for the busy professional.

Perfect cut for big men...
I love this style because it fits me perfectly.Most cuts, while generous in the wais, are not as generous in the chest area.I have found that other shirts have stress pulls around the buttons in my chest region for 17 1/2 - 36/37 size shirts.These fit perfectly.4 stars for the price, it's not the lowest.

Incorrect construction
I have bought almost 8 shirts from this manufacturer.This particular model has problems.Firstly, the sizes are not true (actually somewhat larger than indicated).Secondly, the sleeve construction is about two sizes smaller than the size indicated.I agree with the previous reviewer on this issue.
