Oh..... if only I had these sooner
The Reef Fanning is perhaps the most functional everyday footwear ever designed.Having spent years in flip flops as a whitewater kayak instructor in Colorado I had many moments of abject horror at the inability to open a Beer with the tools at hand.Often we would have to use the bumper of our truck named the Blue Flame (Read: 1972 blue Toyota pick-up w/ missing cylinder) only to spill at least half the beer or break the bottle.Both are crimes against humanity after a long day on the water.Kudos to the design team! ... Still the best
I'm always searching for a better all-around trainer and running shoe than the 991, but haven't yet found one. I have high arches, a high instep, and supinate slightly with the left foot and pronate with the right. What to do? I settle for the only lightweight trainer that fits me comfortably and is easy to find. The Adidas Supernova line also fits me well, and I've gone through a lot of Asics. But for all-around comfort, running ease, and subdued style the 991 is unbeatable.
