I ran my first marathon ever yesterday (Grandma's Marathon, Duluth,MN)and I had been training with several different pairs from different named brands. I always ended up with foot and toe blisters after about 8 miles. After reading Runners World review of the latests, I ordered this pair from Amazon.com. It arrived one week before the race and immediately felt the difference when I tried to run 4 miles with it. The forefoot compartment is roomy and heel part well-cushioned. The shoes felt like they are already broken in . Against my friends' advice, I went ahead and used it in the race and you bet, I finished with a decent time and without a single foot blister.
