nice trainers........
the asics mexico 66 are the nicest trainers i have ever had - which is why i was so desparate to get hold of another pair - and when the black/grey/gold ones appeared not to be available in the uk i decided to buy them over the internet - sadly eastbay sent me the wrong colour - and whilst they have refunded me the value of the shoes - they haven't done the same with the duty and postage costs which are more than i paid for the shoes themselves.I have also now spent quite alot of money chasing up and trying to get this money back as eastbay assured me i was entitled to it.....and am just about to start the process all over again.....if shopping with them i hope you have a better experience
.....second time round i have been impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the eastbay staff - don't know whether i'll get the $116 (not including the purchase price which has been refunded now) that i am owed.....i think thats down to amazon....fingers crossed i guess

Like an extension of my feet
I really like these shoes! I just bought them at a local retail store and was looking on here to see if I could find them cheaper. I've always loved Asics running shoes because they are so comfortable on my feet. But the main problem with my old Asics is they're dorky looking for casual wear. These new casual style of Asics fit my feet like my old shoes and actually look great too! They are very lightweight and almost feel like I'm not even wearing shoes. Unlike running shoes, these are very thin and offer very little little support. Lots of shoes make my feet look big, but these make my feet look sleek. Workmanship appears good but I don't think they will last as long as other shoes because they are so thin. Normally I wouldn't pay $70 for casual shoes but I did this time because these are so comfortable and good-looking. One of the greatest running shoes available today
Whether you are an aspiring athlete or just really want to take good care of your feet, this is a great shoe.It has excellent arch and heel support, with the gel inserts that cushion against high impact running while enveloping around your foot to secure it.You will always have great traction and sure footing while using this shoe, even in rain, snow, mud, gravel, etc.It is made of all synthetic materials which make the shoe incredibly lightweight (almost like running in big socks) but this also makes it a great vegetarian shoe for those against the commonly foundleather uppers.The mesh overing the shoe makes it surprisingly flexible and breathable, if not watertight.The laces are designed as all ther better running shoes are, with the laces diverted away from the ankle so they don't rub or pinch.All around this is an amazing deal on a great shoe with a low price tag.Because of the arch support, this shoe works great for if you stand all day or have sensitive/weak feet.It works great for runners, joggers, walkers, but it won't help crawlers. ... A great shoe
The shoe itself is as unsupporting in the sole and flimsy in the ankles as ever! Really the shoe has never been all that practical for physical activity. Early basketball players used them - and fans would attend in droves to witness the twisted ankles and sundry foot carnage that would ensue. But according to Nike, I am a 13 year old fasioned-concerned member of the counterculture who is quite fond of U.S. punk band, the Ramones, and therefore having little practical need for it's reasonably priced, less attractive, and comfortable competitors. I follow in the long tradition of icons like James Dean and Jack Kerouac (but certainly not that creep Allen Ginsburg). My easy nature, charm, and rugged good looks make me the envy of squares the world over. I'm flattered. Only two years ago, I had to pay only $13 for this persona I wear. Today it will run me up to $50 (Amazon has by far one of the best prices i've seen, though).

Now that Nike has bought Converse, although it likely costs them less to make the shoe, they have tripled the price. But I can't complain: I will not be cool if I don't wear these shoes. If you can find the "originals" (from a few years ago) you should probably buy them because even though they are scarce they're probably still cheaper than these Nike versions.

Great looking shoes, but not worth the price.
When I first started buying them I had at least 4 different colors of the high-tops. I loved the broad spectrum of colors. However, in the last year or two the company was bought out.The prices almost doubled.What was a cool shoe for about $20 is now nearly $40.They have no arch support, sometimes you can see the glue, the shoelaces are often not long enough to lace up the whole shoe, and they wear out pretty quickly (of course that's because I wear them nearly every single day).They also seem to be issuing them in fewer shades.I have had trouble in times past finding the right shade of green or purple.

I still love the shoe, and still own 1 pair of navy blue ones, but I find them hard to recommend to others. ... Read more

Best Basketball Shoes
Dada's are some of the best basketball shoes i have ever had.
