Company Shirt
I bought a hundred of these shirts in black and had them embroidered with the company's name and logo.It came out very nice.With the quality and appearance, these shirts are easily worth 2 to 3 times more than what I had paid for.

Decent fabric but the cut/color/size ... ugh
I ordered three of these shirts after reading the 5 star reviews and I was very disappointed when I received them.The jade is really an unattractive shade of blue/green that's very obnoxious and the size is way off (more like a large) ane the cut of the shirt is not that great.If you still think the deal is too good to pass up, I'd recommend ordering just one to find out for yourself.

There shipping is a disgrace
I ordered items from Newport News hmmmm........ 6wks ago.STILL haven't received NONE of my order.I will never ever order from this company again, I hope they go out of business!!! Buyers PLEASE beware, you really don't want to deal with this company, save your money and go elsewhere.

Do you like to wear rags?
Shirts were so ugly! Poorly sewn, ripped edges, uneven - complete scrap material. Customer service told me the 'raw edges' were fashion. They are the worst items I have ever purchased from this company. Do not waste your money - even on SALE they wouldnt be worth your time.

Not quite what the photo shows, but a decent casual T Shirt
The model photo is in black, which hides many of the (IMHO very important)"rough" construction details. This is not a slick, finished, sweater-y shirt. It's a pieced t-shirt with exposed externalseams and a very unfinished quality. BUT, I've seen equally unfinished things for sale for three times the price. I was a bit surprised because I was expecting something more substantial from the photo, but once I tried it on, I loved the lines of it anyway. I have since purchased it in another color. The bell sleeves and neckline are very flattering together. At any rate, yes, it is a very CASUAL shirt, and "third world sweatshop" quality is probably accurate. Then again, some people like that sort of thing. Anyway, it goes great with jeans and flip-flops.

Cheap as Cheap Quality Gets
Be warned that you get what you pay for with this item. I have never bought from NewPort before and sincerely regret doing so as the customer service was severly lacking in service, along with major delays in receiving any of the items I ordered. When I *did* get this shirt I was in shock at the "3rd world sweat shop" quality that showed by the tag halfway out the other side of the trim. The actual "trim" is just ripped up pieces of material shoddily sewn onto the neckline. Then, you have the ribbed part, which was fine till you get to the "raw edge voile" bell sleeves. Yeah, "raw edge" doesn't begin to describe how these are tacked on as an afterthought. The color does not match, they are thin cotton and oh, you got those "raw edges" (why not just say unfinished?). Am I impressed? You take a guess. I am curious to see what my other items will look like. Will let you know as soon as I get the ones I ordered back in early November (it almost Christmas now). ... Good for a Season, but Careful...it's BRIGHT!
Careful...the green that this item shows online is not the true color: this top is a seriously bright acid/Granny Smith apple green, not the more subdued shade you see on the website (think neon green and you're on track). That said, it's a soft fabric and a comfy cut that will probably last a season, and if the color's just too much, a dye job's not hard to pull off. Heat Transfers are CHEAP
Nowhere on this page does it say that this shirt is "proudly" displaying a HEAT TRANSFER.Hello, I could have made that on my own computer and ironed it on for a lot less.I was extremely upset with my purchase.I bought this one over the Fruit of the Loom one because it had the cool black neck and sleeves.I have since ordered the plain white Fruit of the Loom shirt on Amazon, where it says NOT A HEAT TRANSFER really big and huge on their page.I recommend that you do the same.
